The
Three Gorges span a distance of 193 km along the Yangtze. In
addition to the beautiful scenery and historic sites, the Three
Gorges area has bountiful products and unique customs. It is
as difficult to assess the value of the rich and colorful Three
Gorges as it is to describe its beauty in words.
In the new century, the Yangtze Gorges will still remain, and
become even more attractive. As construction of the Yangtze
Three Gorges Dam project progresses, many new scenic areas and
places to visit will be created, making touring on the Yangtze
River an even more popular attraction of any visit to China.
