Shashi-the
Three Gorges-Chongqing

Arrangement of the journey
D1:
tourists go aboard at shashi. After the accommodation
problem is settled, a before-journey meeting on
the whole journey will be held, and the guide
on boat will introduce the coming sight along
the Yangtse River, facilities on boat which tourist
should be familiar with, and arrangement of the
journey. At 20:00, the tour baot leave the shashi
Harbor and start the journey.
¡úHome
town of WangZhaojun
D2:tourists
can see the boat going through the GeZhou Dam
at 6:00 in the morning. At 7:00, breakfast is
ready. The boat arrives at the Maoping Harbor
at 10:00, and tourists go to the construction
site of the Three-Gorge Dam by the air-conditioned
bus. (The Dam is situated in Sandouping in the
middle section of the Xiling Gorge. The project
includes the body of the dam, the power plant,
the scouring and flood-relief sluice, a two-way
and five-step ship lock, and a two-way and one-step
machine for raising boats. The whole project will
cost 2300 hundred million yuan. It is mainly for
controlling flood, generating electricity, improving
shipping conditions, breeding, tourism,protecting

environment, developing immigration, irrigating,
and sending water from the south to the north.
) After the visit, tourists return back to the
boat which goes on to sail. Tourists have lunch
at 12:00.
After dinner, tourists enjoy the beautiful scene
of the Xiling Gorge and the Wu Gorge on the boat's
platform for lookout. (The seventy-six-kilometer-long
Xiling Gorge is from the mouth of the Xiang Stream
to the Nanjin Pass. There are the Bingshu'Baojian
Gorge, the Niugan'Mafei Gorge, and the "Dengying
Gorge" on the southern bank and so on. The
forty-four-kilometer-long Wu Gorge is from the
mouth of the Daning River in Wushan County in
Chongqing to the mouth of the Guandu River in
Badong County in Hubei province. There are the
well-known Twelve Mounts of Wu Mountain among
which the most famous and prettiest one is "the
Goddess Mount".)
At 19:00 at night, tourists enjoy the farewell
party held by the captain. After the party, tourists
and the crew hold a party together at 20:00. The
boat will be berthed at the Wu Moutain Habor for
the whole night.
D3:
After breakfast at 7:00, tourists go to Wu Mountain
and visit the Small Three-Gorge of the DaLing
River (the river is originated from the southern
Dabasha of the common border of three provinces
of Sichuan, Hubei and Shanxi. The Small Three-Gorge
is made up of the Longmen Gorge, the Bawu Gorge,
and the Dicui Gorge which are known as the magnificent
mountain, clear water, delicate mount, dangerous
shoals, surprising stones, and beautiful scene
and so on. It is not the real the Three-Gorge,
but is better than the Three-Gorge.) After the
visit, tourists return back to the boat and have
lunch at 12:30.
¡úJujifang
Village
After
lunch, tourists enjoy the beautiful scene of the
Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge on the boat's platform
for lookout. (The Qutang Gorge is eight kilometers
long, and is also called as "Kui Gorge"
which is from Baidi City to Dai Stream in Wu Mountain.
It is well known as "magnificent". On
the southern bank there are many scenes such as
"the Cliff of Steles in Qutang Gorge",
"the Ladder of Mengliang", "the
Phoenix Spring", and "the Peak of Rhinoceros
Looking at the Moon", and on the northern
bank there are many surprising scenes such as
"the Seven Doors", "the Bellows
Gorge", "the Plank Road along the Face
of the Cliff". The forty-four-kilometer-long
Wu Gorge is from the mouth of the Daning River

D4:
At 8:30, the boat arrives the Wang County or the
Shibao Camp (the Shibao Camp which is called as
the "Yuying Mountain", is located in
the north bank of the Yangtse River in the Zhong
County, Chongqing. It is said that the Shibao
camp is a stone left by the goddess who refined
stone to mend the sky. The wood-structure and
twelve-story camp is made up of the door, the
body and the attic and 56 meters high. It had
been nine stories, which implied "climbing
the sky". The top three stories were built
in 1956. Until now, it is named as "the pearl
on the Yangtse River".) Tourists return back
to the boat at 11:00 and have dinner at 12:00.
In the afternoon, tourists can listen to the guide
and know more historic stories about the Three-nation
and Bayu culture and places of historic interest
and scenic beauty. At 19:00 at night, tourists
enjoy the farewell party held by the captain.
After the party, tourists and the crew hold a
party together at 20:00.

Ancient Temple-Tianzi
D5:The
tour boat arrive in Chongqing at 9:00 a.m.,(Chongqing
is also called as "Ba", which is located
in the southwest part of china inner land. The
city is built along the mountains, so it is famous
as the "the mountain city" and "
the frog city". There are many famous scenes
such as the Loquat Mountain, the Futu Mountain,
the Jinyun Mountain, the Four-face Mountain and
the South and North Hot Spring and so on. There
are also many historic sites as the Accompanied
Captial, for example, the Carved stone in Dazhu,
the Hongyan Village, the Zhazi cave, the White
Residence, the lin Park, the Kou Park, and the
Jiang's Official Residence. Tourists leave the
boat and the journey is over.
